We're Alpacas, the newest animals at the Corral.
We are native to South America, high in the Andes Mountains
(11,000 to 16,000 ft above sea level), so we're used
to cold and snow. We're related to camels and llamas,
but different. We have very thick fur that people like
to make into woolly clothing. Thats why the farmers
in the Andes raise big herds of us. We're looking forward
to meeting you here at the Corral!

LACY AND FINNEGAN. In the
spring of 2002, our newest babies were these two goats.
We had a contest to name them and a little girl won with
the names Lacey & Finnegan. Now look! The babies have
grown up a lot! They're back in the corral now. Come see
them! |

is carrots." |

This strange little fellow isn't a chicken
at all, but an African bird called a Guinea Fowl.
We don't open their door too often, because they can fly
like crazy, and we probably would never catch them again! |

Ramby the ram is proud
of his new haircut. It was getting pretty hot under all
that wool! You don't want to get in Ramby's way when he's
in a hurry. He gets pretty Rambunctious! |
